Multiboard is a privacy-first browser extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection

Multiboard does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

We do not:

• Collect browsing history
• Track user behavior
• Use analytics or telemetry
• Send data to external servers
• Share information with third parties
• Require user accounts or authentication

Data Storage

All data (boards, tasks, and preferences) is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage.local API. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• No cloud synchronization (unless you use Chrome’s built-in sync)
• No external servers or databases
• Complete offline functionality

Permissions

Multiboard requests minimal permissions:

Purpose: To save your boards and tasks locally in your browser.

Scope: This permission only allows the extension to store data in your browser’s local storage. It does not grant access to any other data.

Third-Party Services

Multiboard does not use:

• Analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
• Crash reporting services
• Advertising networks
• External APIs or services
• Any third-party code libraries that collect data

Browser Sync

If you enable Chrome’s built-in sync feature, your Multiboard data may be synchronized across your devices through Google’s secure sync service. This is controlled by Chrome’s sync settings, not by Multiboard.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the extension’s store listing and in this document.
